Crossing the 2011 Tax Year finish line ….

As Tax Season 2011 winds down, it is time to work through those lingering returns that may be left requiring your attention. The pace is slower, but things still need to get done. The most asked questions by customers in May follow below for Ask Lacerte® and Ask ProSeries®. The themes are around amending returns, inputting 1099s and hours of operation.

Ask Lacerte

  • Ask Lacerte for “hours.” We will be moving back to regular hours again for Sales Service and Support, so please review.
  • Searching for “amend” will provide a Guide to Amending Individual and State Returns. You will see how to add a second amendment to a Business return.
  • If you still have outstanding e-File returns and extensions, Ask Lacerte for “check status” to learn how to check online the status of these outstanding returns.
